Sports Chiropractic Care
Our chiropractors utilize a multimodal treatment approach to best address myofascial and neuro-musculoskeletal concerns. Treatment techniques are chosen based on clinical experience and best available evidence. The focus? It’s simple. Function.
Our practitioners pride themselves on investigating the underlying breakdown producing the patients presenting complaints. Through a physical exam, biomechanical and muscle firing pattern evaluation and looking at all aspects of the patients work and lifestyle our practitioners seek to detect and correct the underlying cause of the problem.
The following is a sample of the various techniques commonly utilized by our practitioners:
- Active Release
- Functional Movement Analysis
- Medical Acupuncture
- Orthopedic/Functional Testing
- Individualized Rehabilitative/Exercise Programs
- Taping/Bracing Procedures
- Custom Foot Orthotics
By providing treatment in circumstances where movement and function are threatened by aging, injury, disease or environmental factors our therapists empower patients to return to a healthy active lifestyle. Through a meticulous evaluation focused on specific regions of movement and muscular deficiency our therapists design an individualized treatment plan catered to each patient. When necessary our physiotherapist will incorporate the use of intramuscular stimulation (IMS), graston, myofascial release, or an individualized exercise program. The following is a sample of commonly prescribed exercise programs offered by our physiotherapists:
- Core stability
- Low Back Stability
- Sprain and strain rehabilitation programs
- Rotator Cuff Rehabilitation
- Tennis or golfers elbow Rehabilitation

Our Registered Massage Therapists specialize in the therapeutic manipulation of the body’s soft tissues to promote healing. They utilize a detailed evaluation and hands on techniques to evaluate and eliminate muscular tension and chronic irritation that ultimately leads to myofascial fibrosis.
In addition to eliminating muscular tension, therapeutic massage also improves the circulation of blood and lymph enhancing the recovery time of acute and chronic injuries.

Prolotherapy/Regenerative Injection Therapy
Prolotherapy (aka Regenerative Injection Therapy – RIT), also known as ligament reconstructive therapy or sclerotherapy, is a recognized orthopedic procedure that stimulates the body's natural healing processes to strengthen joints weakened by trauma or arthritis. Joints weakened when ligaments and tendons are stretched, torn, or fragmented, become hypermobile and painful.
Traditional approaches with anti-inflammatory drugs and surgery often fail to stabilize the joint and relieve pain permanently. Prolotherapy has the unique ability to directly address the cause of instability and repair the weakened sites, resulting in permanent stabilization of the joint. When precisely injected into the site of pain or injury, prolotherapy creates a mild, controlled inflammation which stimulates the body to lay down new tendon or ligament fibers, resulting in a strengthening of the weakened structure. When the joint becomes strong, pain will be relieved.
