Dr. greg uchacz

 Dr. Uchacz is Clinic Director at PHG. As a chiropractic sports specialist, Dr. Uchacz has provided health care support at over 180 international competitions; including 3 Olympic Games. He is a health care provider for the Canadian Sport Centre Calgary and is the Health Care Director for Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined Canada. Practicing for nearly 20 years, Dr. Uchacz currently serves as the past president of the Royal College of Chiropractic Sport Sciences (Canada), a member of the Board of Directors for the International Sports Chiropractic Association (ISCA) and a member of the Games Commission of the International Sport Chiropractic Federation (FICS). He was recently awarded 'Chiropractor of the Year' by the Alberta College and Association of Chiropractic.


Dr. David Roberts

Dr. David Roberts holds a Bachelor of Science and Kinesiology degree, a Certificate in Advanced Athletic Therapy and a Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. He is a resident with the Royal College of Chiropractic Sport Sciences (Canada), a member in good standing with the Alberta College and Association of Chiropractors, and the Canadian Chiropractic Association. Dr. Roberts currently serves as a chiropractic coordinator for the Canadian Pro Rodeo Sport Medicine Team and is a certified WCB provider. 



Dr. Tony Gareau has maintained a sports and family-based practice for over 14 years. He is currently in his final year of residency with the Royal College of Chiropractic Sport Sciences of Canada in becoming a chiropractic sports specialist. He is a member in good standing with the College of Chiropractic Sport Sciences (Canada), Canadian Chiropractic Association and Alberta College and Association of Chiropractors. He is also a certified provider for the Workers Compensation Board. Dr. Gareau has worked with a variety of national, Olympic and professional athletes throughout the course of his career. 


Dr. Michael Hoffmann holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine degree. He is a licensed member of the Alberta Association of Naturopathic Practitioners College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta, certified with the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors, and a member of the Naturopathic Academy of Therapeutic Injections. He is extensively trained in myofascial trigger point injection, neural therapy, regional anesthesia, mesotherapy, regenerative injection therapy (prolotherapy), and platelet rich plasma (PRP).  Dr. Hoffmann brings an innovative and effective skill set to the team.


Dr. Amy Mackinnon holds a Bachelor of Science Kinetics degree with Honours from St. Francis Xavier University. She then graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) obtaining her Doctor of Chiropractic Degree with Clinic Honours.  She is a member of good standing with the Alberta College and Association of Chiropractors and the Canadian Chiropractic Association. Dr. MacKinnon is a certified Contemporary Acupuncture provider through McMaster University, a full body Active Release Techniques (ART©) provider and Gaston Techniques trained. She also has experience providing treatments and functional rehabilitation programs for children including those with Autism and other developmental delays. 

Dr. Chelsey Fricker



Shane is a Registered Massage Therapist who has 15+ year of experience and holds a 2400 hour medical therapy diploma from McKay School of Massage and hydrotherapy in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He is also a registered member of the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada. He has worked with a variety of clientele which includes elite athletes from various different sport backgrounds, powerlifting, body building, hockey, softball and martial arts. He has also worked extensively with MVA victims over his many years in practice. She specializes in deep tissue massage, myofasical mobilization and trigger point therapy. He is also a sports enthusiast, especially Wing Chung Fi, which he trains in several times a week. 


Kristyne Hawkshaw

Kristyne has been a message therapist sine 2007 and is in good standing with the Massage Therapist Association of Alberta. She received her Contemporary Medical Acupuncture certificate in 2012 from McMaster University. She specializes in sports therapy and has worked with a diverse range of athletes. Her treatments include acupuncture, myofasical release, trigger point therapy and mobilizations. Kristyne is also a certified personal trainer. She uses her experience to teach home exercises and self-mobilizations. She is a former competitive skater, has participated in the Ride to Conquer Cancer, ran the Calgary half Marathon and is a spartan race finisher. 


Dr Courtney graduated from the University of Calgary in 2015 with a Bachelor of Kinesiology. As a recent graduate she is excited to take on this challenge as an exercise specialist at Pro Active Health Group. She has extensive experience working with rehabilitation patients while completing her undergrad. While working in collaboration with a team, she will help provide training programs and rehabilitation plans. As a new addition she will provide you with training rehabilitation program as well as utilizing her kinesiology background to allow new and exciting patients to join her in the learning process.  


Hannah Williams graduated with honours from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science. She then completed a Masters of Science in physiotherapy at Dalhousie University. Hannah is a member in good standing with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and of the Physiotherapy Alberta College and Association. She has completed additional post-graduate training including a level 1 diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy and Functional Dry Needling. Hannah uses IMS combined with her exercise expertise in anatomy and functional exercise to create effective, personalized rehabilitation programs.
